How do I search for products?

There are two ways of finding products on argosspares.co.uk. You can browse our online catalogue or search for specific products by using the argosspares Spares Finder.

How to browse our catalogue
  • Click on a section link from the left hand navigation
  • Click on the required sub-categories image or text link.
  • Click on a product you are interested in
How to use the search facility

You can also search for products by brand, model or part. To do so, simply enter the brand of the product (e.g. Dyson, Hotpoint, Vax) into the brands field. As you start typing a drop down list will appear offering you a list of brands based on the letters you are typing. If you prefer you can now select one of these options in the generated list or you can continue typing the brand manually. In addition to or alternatively enter the model name (e.g. DC07, Aquamaster, Juicemaster) into the model field. The third and final field is a part field where you can enter what type of product you are looking for (e.g. filter, remote, battery.) Finally click on the “GO” button and all of the products that match your chosen search terms will be displayed. Entering a valid product i.d. number into the part field will produce details of that specific product alone.

THE FITTING OF SPARES MUST BE BY A TECHNICALLY COMPETENT PERSON

Using the shopping basket
Click the "Add to Basket" button from the Product Information Screen - this adds the item to your shopping basket.

You will now be presented with the Shopping Basket. From here you can:

  • Select the required quantity from the drop down list
  • Select Standard or Next Day delivery method
  • Remove an item should you choose not to purchase it
  • Also note that the running total figures update as you make changes

You may now browse our products further to find more items to add to your basket or you may continue to the next ordering phase by clicking on the “Go To Checkout button.”

You will notice that the price has now been added to the Mini Shopping Basket which is visible at the top right of most pages, this is where "cookies" play their part in keeping track of your order.

Completing your order

When you click on the "Go To Checkout" button, you will be taken to the Checkout screen, this screen contains your order information and full order costs including delivery and handling charges. Please fill out the:
  • Contact Details
  • Cardholders Address
  • Delivery Address (if different)
  • Credit/Debit Card Details

Click on the "Confirm Order" button and the order is now securely sent to us. Your order will be shipped out within the time frame set out by your selected delivery method.
